A new way of thinking the campus

Poveglia has developed in many ways in its history. Sometimes outperforming market town Venice, sometimes Quarantine or psychiatric hospital, the island has nevertheless been a strong place in the lagoon. For centuries, the island has developed its own ecosystem, successive ruins mingling with dense vegetation, locked up in his water boundaries. It is in this context strongly focused on nature that we decided to place the project on the water, circling the island in a highly symbolic ring.
