A think since I start studied architecutre, I always wanted to experimente and especially in school reinventing architecture, because it’s always somehow the better way to investigate, new qualities of spaces, more poetic ones but also creating more sophisticated ones closer to its context and temporality.

We need at this time more than any others to reinvestigate what architecture really is ! We cannot stay in the stage where we just up grade the old philosophy of planning and reproduce a morphology that is not accurate anymore and begin to fail in every way it was design for. Why, because it was intended for a specific period, architecture should reinvente itself continually because as simple it is, society is in constant transformation and to be abble to follow, architecture shouldn’t focus on the present but in what we can do to improve the future. Think about it in the fifties we change for the fist time the way of living as architects reinvented space and morphologies. It was the first time since the middle age that we really reshape the entire field of architecture. Why ? Because at the way of living radically changed to create a new era of innovations of new perspectives, that create a new standard of living and we needed to rebuild cities from the ground due to the war that took away so many lives.

Achieving an intellectual revolution in the sense that we do not just think architecture as it is but we question evreythings to create and invent rather than reproduce and duplicate as we are doing today. We learn to think for ourselves all the implications architecture as a complex beast, not thinking as you just need to get the job done but challenge new philosophies, explore new fields and experimente. We need to take the opportunity buy just not sitting on our preconceptions but to question and to shatter. This is also what we must offer as an architect, the possibility of developing a real critical sense, atypical and reformer. Major innovations are released by creative minds because they are not affraid to think outside the box. By this I think that architect and others should cultivate and keep this pageantry.

 

For the architect the challenge is to create an conducive atmosphere to the creation and training architects to took appart the “establishment” . Rethink standardized architecture. If it was successful in another era it now fail to respond to fast growing and changing parameters and new constraints of this schifting society.

The challenge is to design and create news tools to faced those new challenges of the 21st century. Reinventing space from zero. Creating an archictecture responding to fast changing environment. capable of evoluing and changing itself. To be realistic, we need to create in some ways an architecture of emergency evoluing from an architecture of programmed obsolescence to the architecture of change.
